Licensed Veterinary Nurse Wanted for Small Animal Clinic
Smådjurskliniken Hjärtat ABÖrebro län, Örebro
Previous experience is desired
We are looking for a licensed veterinary nurse for our small animal clinic!
The Small Animal Clinic Hjärtat is a modern clinic equipped with the latest technology.
Our patients often return, and our goal is to follow them for many years.
This is a clinic where we want employees to actively work together to drive the clinic forward, make suggestions, and develop their workplace. Your participation is important to us.
We are looking for someone who is a licensed veterinary nurse, motivated to continue developing in areas of knowledge, especially anesthesia, dentistry, and emergency patients. We would like you to work collaboratively with colleagues and actively drive the clinic forward, not afraid to take on new challenges and tasks.
The work primarily consists of a mix of working in the surgical department as well as outpatient work and the tasks required for a smaller clinic to function in collaboration with colleagues.
The clinic has been well-established for a few years, but there is growth potential, and this is where you, as a licensed veterinary nurse, are needed to meet customer needs and the increased demand for care, primarily for dogs and cats.
We currently have 3 veterinarians, of which 2 are full-time and one has a consulting role. We also have 1 level 3 animal caretaker and 2 level 2 animal caretakers.
Our goal is not to become a large clinic but to maintain a family atmosphere that permeates the business and extends to the customer.
We maintain a high standard of equipment and have 2 operating rooms; one for sterile surgeries and one for dental surgeries, as well as a preparation room.
Both of our anesthesia machines are equipped with ventilators in both operating rooms.
We have the capability for soft tissue and dental surgery, as well as endoscopy.
In the outpatient area, we have 4 examination rooms, a small laboratory, X-ray, and ultrasound diagnostics for both cardiac and abdominal ultrasound.
We are looking for someone who is a licensed veterinary nurse, preferably with a few years of experience in anesthesia and dental surgery, but this is not a requirement. Newly graduated candidates are also encouraged to apply as we will support you in succeeding in your role.
Your personality, with a willingness to develop, further your education, engage with new findings, and collaborate with colleagues, is appreciated.
You place great value on the development of differences, and by working together, the whole becomes better. You have a natural talent for handling people and see challenges instead of obstacles.
You will have the opportunity for development and see it as a given to share your knowledge with other colleagues.
We look forward to your application, meeting you, and showing you our workplace, which we are proud of and wish for you to become a part of. We will ensure that you feel comfortable in our community and be a good colleague for you as well.
Please send your application to Chief Veterinarian and Owner Vibeke Lem: [email protected]
If you have questions about the position, feel free to email, and I can call you back to answer easily.
Recruitment will take place as soon as the right candidate appears.
